Shira Netter

OTR/L, CLC

I am a pediatric occupational therapist, feeding specialist and lactation counselor in Ventura, CA.  I work with families to provide personalized care and support for each child's unique needs. Trained in mindfulness based occupational therapy, I have a holistic and client-centered approach when working with children and families.

I have always had a passion for working with children and after years of being a pediatric occupational therapist and feeding therapist, I knew I wanted to deepen my knowledge on infant feeding, as well.

I truly love what I do, and I am honored to walk alongside families as their little ones grow, heal, and thrive.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting your family.

Our Approach

Through years of experience, We've developed advanced skills in supporting infants both before and after oral tie revisions, including feeding, latch, and oral motor development. Rather than seeing feeding, development, and lactation as separate issues, we look at your baby holistically. Our background as an occupational therapist and certified lactation counselor allows us to blend developmental knowledge with feeding and lactation expertise, offering comprehensive care.

Every baby has their own story. Every family has their own journey. Our role is to walk alongside you with empathy, warmth, and clarity. We meet families where they are and help them take the next step with confidence.

Our Mission

Every family deserves care that’s compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized. We combine occupational therapy, lactation counseling, and mindfulness practices to create a holistic approach that nurtures both babies and parents.

We provide care that honors your baby’s unique needs and your family’s rhythm. We know firsthand the joys and challenges of parenthood, and we're here to help you feel confident and supported.
